Kaspersky has found that scammers are currently trying to take advantage of online shoppers. With an increase in the amount of online shopping being done due to COVID-19, scammers are impersonating companies such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS. These fake emails will all state that there was an issue delivering a package due to Coronavirus, and that it’s being held for pickup or needs to be rescheduled for delivery. Users are then asked by the scammers to download attachments that contain malware, or to click on a phishing link and provide their personal information.
